"I loved your book I Hated Heaven! I
can't wait for the next one! — Cherie Gueldenzopf
"I just wanted to send my compliments to
Kenny Kemp for I Hated Heaven. I loved this book. I read one or two
novels a week and usually get them from the library. I saw this book
sitting on the shelf at the library in Gillette, WY and took it home. This
is one I had to have in my own library! I just received my copy today and
plan on reading it again before sharing it with others. Congratulations on
a wonderful book and good luck in the future! What a wonderful book! It
had me going from the first chapter until I was bawling my eyes out as it
ended. A truly inspirational book. One I had to buy for my own library at
home and one I would recommend to anyone. I thought it was great that I
could email Mr. Kemp and he responded! He's definitely got a fan here. I'm
looking forward to the sequel." — Annie
"I very much enjoyed the book. I found your
premise fascinating since I too made a similar deal with my mother before
she died. She, of course, did not come back to answer my questions. I also
imagined that there are probably rules governing such affairs which my
timid mother would be very hesitant to break. However, I believe myself to
be the consummate rebel who would behaved much like your Tom, perhaps even
worse. I found the book very readable and compelling. I do read a great
deal so feel I know a good book when one crosses my path. At the very
least, I know what I like and I liked your book."

"I was so excited when I got to the back of
your book and you had an email address, because as I reached the end I
wondered how I could let the author know how great this book was. I
purchased it at a Barnes and Noble bookstore and picked it just by reading
the back thinking it was a general love story that had no realistic
spiritual connection. As I read it and spoke to other people about
different parts of it they told me it compared to the Robin Williams and
Annabella Sciora film What Dreams May Come. I am a Methodist who
has always wondered about heaven and what it entails. Even though this is
fiction, it made you think and was a delight to read. I only wished it was
longer. I discussed the plot with different people as I read and we
wondered what the outcome would be, but I never would have guessed that
Tom would return home. I read this book to and from work and from the
moments of Tom's death to his return, I know other train riders must have
wondered if I was strange from my facial expressions. The book also had a
Patrick Swazey—Demi Moore (Ghost) appeal at the end. I thought Stan
was Satan leading Tom to the end for sure. I just wanted to let you know
how much I appreciated this book and it will get passed on. I even plan to
purchase more for others who would appreciate it too. It just left me with
a warm feeling upon completion that I can't describe. Very well done! I
look forward to your work in the future. Thank you again for your writing
and God bless." — Darlene R. Johns
"Just finished reading your book last night
(one of the last autographed copies B Dalton had). Loved it! I read a lot
of books, most of which after one read are sent to the used book store.
Yours is one of the very few that I am keeping." — Rod Empey
"I just finished your book, I Hated
Heaven. It was wonderful. I felt warmth, love, and a hope that maybe
life and death could really be like that. I loved Stan, but I guess I am
supposed to, aren't I? I also liked having Chuck back in the book at the
end. Life is just an unending group of experiences though, isn't it? Some
good some bad, but how else are we to grow as people, if not for the bad
how would you know what was really good ! I think we all get second
chances at times we just don't pay close enough attention to it so we
don't always take advantage of them. I am looking forward to reading more
books written by you and someday you can read mine. I would like to order
another copy for my girlfriend in Michigan, I know she would love the
book." — Melanie Herren
"I just completed reading your new book,
I Hated Heaven. When I first saw the title I was a little scared to
pick it up, but the title is actually what caught my eye. As I got into
the book, I absolutely LOVED it. I cried so hard at the end! I thought the
book was very well written. I would also like to know when your next book
is due out. I am always looking for a good new author. I will recommend
your book to my friends, and I am sure they will have the same feelings as
myself. Keep up the good work, and I cant wait till I see another book by
you. A new fan," — Carol
"I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed
the book I Hated Heaven. As a teacher I especially liked the idea
of Heaven as a place of continued learning with the opportunity to
continue reading books of my choice. The ending was surprising and
delightful. I think the theme for the whole book is the importance of
married couples being together for eternity which is so important to my
family. Thanks for the trip to Paradise." -- Rosann Carson
I just finished I Hated Heaven. At
first I didn't know if I liked it. My friend who recommended the book to
me, said to keep reading. I am so glad I did. I'm looking forward to the
next book by Mr. Kemp. I prefer Christian fiction over other types of
books. Max Lacado, Chuck Swindell, and Frank Perelli are among my favorite
authors. I will now be sure to include Mr. Kemp in my recommendations to
friends and family to read. Thanks. This book was a compelling read." —
