Late one night, while his family sleeps, a young father sits hunched over his roll-top desk, looking at the bills and wondering how he'll pay them. He feels inadequate and overwhelmed, unable to live up to the standards everyone expects of him.

Then his four-year-old son, awakened by a terrifying nightmare, appears in the doorway, crying. "Daddy, are you there?"

This moving and heart-felt book reminds us we all need someone to believe in, someone to whom we can go when we need help, someone who will make it all better.
